INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAM
This program provides support and assistance to clients with persistent mental illness. The goal of this program is to provide clients with basic living skills to facilitate independent living.
WHO CAN APPLY
Anyone registered with Provincial Mental Health Services. Referrals are also accepted from other agencies and from individuals. A current Saskatchewan Health Card is required.
- Support and reassurance
- Advocacy
- Assistance with locating housing and relocation
- Assistance with accessing community resources
- Teaching skills such as housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, budgeting and personal hygiene.
